| Our Mission Our mission is to strengthen, promote, and champion the Green Valley and Sahuarita libraries and in so doing enrich the quality of life for everyone in our community. To achieve this mission we foster lifelong learning, encourage volunteerism, and raise funds that support programs, provide supplemental materials, and contribute to library improvements. What We Do
Bookstores In order to raise funds and recycle books, we operate two used bookstores, one in the Green Valley Library, one in Green Valley Village. We also sell books worldwide on the Internet. Your donations of used books provide us with our inventory. Click on the Bookstores page for more information. About Us The Friends of the Pima-Green Valley Library is a 501(c)(3) corporation, so any money you contribute will be tax deductible. History and Archive The Friends of the Pima-Green Valley Library has an archive of its history. Compiled by Archivist Tom Wilsted, the archive itself is housed in the Joyner-Green Valley Library. You can see an inventory of the archive at this link. A brief historical timeline is available here.
