Friends of Green Valley Library Board
Barbara Hunt, Newsletter
Our mission is to strengthen, promote, and champion the Green Valley and Sahuarita libraries and in so doing enrich the quality of life for everyone in our community. To achieve this mission we foster lifelong learning, encourage volunteerism, and raise funds that support programs, provide supplemental materials, and contribute to library improvements.
What We Do
Programs for Adults
Occasional trips to book-related events, such as the Tucson Festival of Books
Scholarships for graduate students at the University of Arizona School of Information Resources and Library Science who are employees of the Pima County Public Library System
In order to raise funds and recycle books, we operate two used bookstores, one in the Green Valley Library, one in Green Valley Village. We also sell books worldwide on the Internet. Your donations of used books provide us with our inventory.
Click on the Bookstores page for more information.
The Friends of the Pima-Green Valley Library is a 501(c)(3) corporation, so any money you contribute will be tax deductible.
